Because Perirosa stores nothing on our side, we have no way to look up your account or see your data — there is no account and we cannot see anything. When you write in, it helps to tell us your device and OS version, the app version from Settings, and what you expected to happen.
Please do not send us screenshots containing your health data. We do not need them to help, and we would rather it stayed on your device where it belongs. Describe the problem instead.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does my data really stay on my device?
Yes. There is no account, no server and no analytics. Everything is written to a private database on your device. We could not retrieve your data if we wanted to. The Privacy Policy sets out the three cases where information can leave — a PDF you share, the optional calendar feature, and device backups — all of which are your own actions.
Can I use Perirosa if my cycles are irregular, or have stopped?
That is what it is built for. Symptoms, doses and everything else log on any day, with or without a cycle. Nothing requires you to have a current or predictable period. Cycle predictions need several completed cycles before they appear at all, and the app will simply not show them rather than invent a date.
How do I set up my HRT regimen?
Go to Medications and add each part of your regimen separately — for example an estradiol patch and a progesterone capsule. Set the dose, the route (patch, gel, spray, oral, pessary) and the schedule. Sequential regimens prescribed as "the first twelve days of each month" are supported directly. Once a regimen has a schedule you can turn on reminders and mark each dose taken, skipped or missed.
My reminders aren't arriving.
Check that notifications are allowed for Perirosa in your device's Settings → Notifications, that the reminder is switched on in the app, and that the medication is still active with a schedule. If you declined the notification prompt the first time, allowing it afterwards in Settings is enough — the app re-registers your reminders when you next open it.
Why does my notification just say "Perirosa"?
That is the Discreet notifications setting, which is on by default for cycle-related reminders so nothing identifiable appears on your lock screen. You can turn it off in Settings if you would rather see the full text.
How do I get the PDF for my doctor?
Open Settings → Export Health Report, choose the date range, and generate. The PDF is created on your device and nothing happens to it until you share it. It is available on the free tier — walking into an appointment with evidence is the whole point of tracking.
What do I get with Pro?
HRT and medication regimens with adherence tracking, the perimenopause daily check-in with hot-flash counts, sleep quality and symptom trends, and advanced insights. The calendar, symptom and period logging — including perimenopause symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats and brain fog — weight, temperature, the daily diary and the doctor PDF are all free.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with. Note that your purchase restores — your data does not, because it never left your old device. Restore it from a device backup instead.
Do my records sync between my iPhone and my Mac?
No. Each device keeps its own separate database. That is a direct consequence of the app having no cloud component. Cross-device sync is something we are considering in a way that would keep data in your own iCloud account rather than ours, but it is not in this version.
How do I cancel my subscription or get a refund?
Cancel in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device — cancelling at least 24 hours before renewal stops the next charge. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something is not working as described, please email us first.
How do I delete everything?
Settings → Privacy Controls → Delete all data removes every record from your device in one action. Deleting the app removes the database too. Neither removes a PDF you already shared or events written to a synced calendar account — remove those from wherever you sent them.
Does Perirosa use Apple Health?
Not in this version. The app does not request Health permissions and does not read or write any Health data. If that changes it will be opt-in and the Privacy Policy will be updated first.
